At Malvern, we recognise that music is a universal language that embodies one of the highest forms of creativity. Our systemic and progressive curriculum is designed to inspire pupils whilst providing the necessary knowledge and skills to become competent musicians. Using a peripatetic teacher, we strive to provide a music curriculum that enables our young people to become confident, creative and ambitious musicians who are able to develop critical engagement with music. Through our wider curriculum offer, we provide many opportunities for learners to grow their talents. These opportunities include regular opportunities to perform to their peers, parents and a wider audiences, the opportunity to develop mastery of a musical instrument should children desire this and weekly music assemblies.
