A Midsummer Night’s Dream

At the end of June 2025, Drama & Theatre Club children visited the Shakespeare North Playhouse to see the Oddsocks Theatre Company perform their hilarious version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.  The show took place in the Sir Ken Dodd Performance Garden.  Thanks to our friends at the theatre, Malvern children had front row seats – and were treated to an anarchic and fun-filled rendition of one of Shakespeare’s most famous comedies.  The following day, one of the actors from Oddsocks emailed school to say: ‘It was an absolute delight to play to such a lively, engaged and happy group of pupils!  We enjoyed the sweets very much too!’
