Critique Creatures
Year 2 worked hard to create observational drawings of various creatures. With each step, they became more anatomically accurate in response to feedback and critique.
Year 2 children enjoyed learning about the artists Wassily Kandinsky, Jackson Pollock and Damien Hirst. Then they created their own pieces of abstract art.
Year 1 children enjoyed learning about the abstract artist, Piet Mondrian. They created their own abstract artwork in the style of Mondrian’s using the primary colours, straight lines and geometric shapes.
