By ensuring that their children attend school regularly, our families demonstrate a deep understanding of the importance of education and its lifelong impact. Regular school attendance has numerous benefits for children. It establishes a strong foundation for their academic success, fosters a sense of belonging within the school community and develops vital social and life skills. It is through partnership that we are able to provide a nurturing and consistent learning environment for our children.

Children’s attendance at school has been highlighted regularly in national press and news coverage of late. Attendance rates across England have emerged as a significant concern on a national scale, reflecting the broader challenges faced by schools in promoting consistent attendance. Furthermore, attendance levels in Knowsley have been identified as among the lowest in the country. This spotlight underscores the importance of addressing children’s attendance issues within our local community.

Therefore, we are absolutely delighted to share that Malvern Primary School has once again been recognised for excellent attendance and have received a National Attendance Award for the Autumn Term.

At Malvern, we fully understand the importance of good attendance and we are thrilled that that our relentless dedication to promoting good attendance has once again been recognised at a national level.  This award is a testament to the incredible partnership between school and home. Our families encouragement and commitment to ensuring their children attend school regularly is outstanding and has played a significant role in Malvern achieving this recognition once again.
