World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day 2023

On Friday, 13th October, we are inviting all Malvern children to wear something yellow to school to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day 2023. We are proud to participate in the #HelloYellow campaign to support the YoungMinds Charity in their mission to raise awareness for young people’s mental health. By wearing yellow on this special day, we will be sending a powerful message that we stand with young people and believe that they deserve the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what. The theme for this year’s #HelloYellow campaign is to ‘stand out and show up for young people’s mental health.’ Therefore, are inviting all of our children to dig out their neon socks, custard scarves, banana hats, lemon bobbles or any item of yellow clothing or accessories they have. This simple gesture can make a big difference in spreading awareness and supporting the well-being of our young people. We look forward to seeing the school community to embrace the colour yellow on Friday, 13th October and make a positive impact on young people’s mental health. Together, we can stand out and show up for a brighter, healthier future.
