Daring to be… BRAVE!
Our school’s Careers Week was an inspiring and exciting experience, centered around the theme “Dare to Be Brave.” Throughout the week, we had the incredible opportunity to meet a variety of professionals who shared their journeys and encouraged us to chase our dreams fearlessly.
Visitors included a DJ, an Army nurse, an actor, a set designer, and even an animator from Disney Pixar, each offering fascinating insights into their creative and dynamic careers. We also welcomed the Vibe Outdoors team, a police officer, and a firefighter, who spoke about resilience, teamwork, and making a difference in the community.
Their stories reminded us that bravery isn’t just about taking risks—it’s about believing in ourselves and stepping boldly toward our futures. As a school, we are incredibly grateful to all our visitors for taking the time to inspire us, share their experiences, and show us that with courage and determination, anything is possible.
Daring to be… GREEN!
We are preparing pupils for a future where green jobs are going to be more important than ever. As part of Green Careers Week, we gave pupils the opportunity to discover what green job are, what skills may be required and why green jobs are so important to us now and for our future. We were lucky enough to have visitors from Knowsley Council, that work in green roles, who were able to explain what their impact was on the local communities’ green areas. We have also been lucky enough to create links with Neston Secondary School, who invited our green group members over to see the amazing things they are doing with recycling plastics and how they are teaching skills that can lead into green jobs and roles.
