Cricket Success

Year 5 and 6 entered a kwik cricket competition that was hosted by Prescot Odyssey CC.
We showed many incredible skills throughout the day but most importantly we showed enthusiasm, commitment and excellent sportsmanship.
Our teamwork was exceptional and we supported each other throughout the competition. We finished a respectable 3rd in a group of 5.
I was incredibly proud of the children who showed all the attributes of outstanding Malvern pupils.

We are thrilled to share the outstanding achievement of our Key Stage 2 cricket team, who recently showcased their prowess at the Knowsley Schools’ Cricket Tournament, finishing as worthy runners-up. This remarkable feat has secured their place in the upcoming regional final in July.

Our students’ performance on the cricket field not only reflected their exceptional athletic abilities but also highlighted their dedication to teamwork and exemplary sportsmanship. As ambassadors for Malvern Primary School, they displayed not only fantastic cricket skills but also a commendable spirit of fair play and collaboration.

The success of our cricket team is a testament to the hard work and commitment of both the players and their coaches. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to each team member for their remarkable achievements and we eagerly anticipate their representation of Malvern at the regional final.

This accomplishment not only adds to the rich sporting legacy of Malvern Primary School but also reinforces our commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel both academically and athletically. We encourage the entire Malvern community to join us in celebrating this cricket triumph and wish our team continued success in the upcoming regional final.
