Throughout National Schools’ Football Week, each class at Malvern held their own competition to crown class champions with the winning teams from each class competing head to head in a bid to make it to the final. The competition was tight with two classes eventually making it to the final.
5JB and 6ND arrived for the match under close supervision from their managers. With the Champions League anthem sounding, the roar from the crowd was vociferous and could be heard in local streets. The game was tight and both teams represented their classes with distinction.
The game was fiercely competitive, with both teams displaying remarkable skill and determination. When the final whistle blew, the score was tied at 5-5, setting the stage for a golden goal extra-time showdown. The tension was palpable, and every moment was filled with anticipation.
In the end, it was Madison’s expertly taken penalty kick that secured victory for 6ND, making them the proud champions of Malsal 2023. Their hard work, teamwork, and sportsmanship were truly commendable, and they emerged as shining examples of the values we hold dear at Malvern.
