Malvern children attended a rugby festival at Portico Vine ARLFC. Over 50 pupils from across Knowsley had an action packed afternoon with coaches from Saints Community Development Foundation and Portico Vine. The pupils got involved in a variety of rugby league carousels that involved passing, evasion, decision making and learning the fundamentals of rugby league before getting into games to put their skills they learned into play.
This wonderful event was followed up with more pupils taking part in further training sessions in school. The children thoroughly enjoyed developing their skills and we look forward to further developing our relationship with Portico Vine and Saints Community Development Foundation as the year progresses.
