As You Write It

On the evening of Friday 9^th September, our Drama & Theatre Club children were excellent Malvern ambassadors when they visited the brand-new Shakespeare North Playhouse.  In the presence of BBC ‘One Show’ cameras and Merseyside author Frank Cottrell-Boyce, our children witnessed the first ‘in the round’ performance on Shakespeare North’s amazing octagonal stage.  ‘As You Write It’ debuted three short plays that were written by young people – winners of a joint Shakespeare North and BBC One Show competition.  And as often happens on theatre trips, several members of the audience complimented the children on their impeccable behaviour.
