Hello Malvern Book Clubbers!

I’m over the moon you have chosen to join Yanka and the herd for this adventure. It was inspired by the folktales my grandmother told me, my love of forests and animals, and my belief in the importance of ‘belonging’. For me, ‘belonging’ is about discovering places where you feel comfortable, and finding people who respect and appreciate you. I suspect many of you have found a sense of ‘belonging’ in your book club, and in the pages of your favourite books! I truly hope you enjoy The Girl Who Speaks Bear, and I wish you many happy hours of reading, chatting and sipping hot chocolate while you journey into The Snow Forest.
