Rapunzel
Drama & Theatre Club children (and our KS2 Arts Ambassadors) went to the Everyman Theatre on January 9th and really let their hair down ! ‘Oh no they didn’t !’ ‘Oh yes they did !’
If you haven’t guessed already, it was Rapunzel pantomime time. As ever, the Everyman had assembled an awesomely talented bunch of actor musicians who sang, danced, entertained and played music live on stage, as they brought the classic fairytale to life in surprising style. Packed with plenty of silliness and heaps of sparkle, the show had children and staff singing and dancing along.
At the end of the night, Everyman regular Adam Keast (Fairy Fixer-Upper) gave Malvern children a special shout out. The boys and girls who attended were excellent ambassador for our school. Indeed, staff were approached by audience members who commented on the children’s superb conduct.
It’s Jack and the Beanstalk next year – and our front row seats are already booked !
