The Comedy of Errors

Members of our Drama and Theatre Club visited Speke Hall on Thursday 22nd June (2017) to see The Lord Chamberlain’s Men perform William Shakespeare’s:

‘The Comedy of Errors’.

This fantastical comedy follows two pairs of identical twins, Antipholus of Syracuse and Antipholus of Ephesus, and their servants, both named Dromio. When they were babies, the twins and their parents were separated in a shipwreck; now, years later, as one half of the twins search for the other they unwittingly find themselves in the same city on the same day.

The children had a fab time – and enjoyed a picnic while watching the play.  At the end of the performance, children took to the stage to pose for a photograph with the cast.
